Lemonade

Inspiring movie about how people turn getting laid off (lemons) into businesses of passion (lemonade).

Sometimes there’s things you love to do that you forget about, so put your energy in the things you love. Put all the energy you can into those things and see what happens.

‘The Story of Stuff’

I got a “C” in my globalization class in college. It wasn’t that I didn’t care about the subject matter. It was my last class, and I was ready to just be finished. “The Story of Stuff” is an creative look at the economics of manufacturing, consumption, globalization and sustainability as an alternative.

Watch the full series. It’ll help you get that “A” in living a greener lifestyle and making the world a better place to live.

Big Food the next Big Auto?

Michael Pollan so clearly articulates the politics, economics and health of food (“Eat sunshine, not oil.”), grassroots calls for him to be the next Secretary of Agriculture don’t seem so kooky.

Given the events unfolding around Big Auto over the past few months, after watching this, I can’t help but wonder: Is Big Food the next Big Auto?

New site! Comments?

Finally, a “real” Web site.

I’ve always had grand intentions of setting up my personal site/portfolio in a more interactive, blog format, and finally, here we go. As we move into a new, exciting year, I plan to write and share more. I figure this new format will be the impetus for doing so.

Two questions for you:

  • Comments on the design?
  • What should I talk about?
